A charming devil arrives in a quiet village to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. Elizabeth should be his easiest target, having been labeled a “witch” and cast out by the town, but her soul is not so readily bought. As the devil returns to convince her – and then returns again – unexpected passions flare, alliances are formed, and the village is forever changed.
The Guild is thrilled to collaborate with local playwrights Calvin Laveck and Kevin McLachlan to premiere their new work Klondike: The Musical. With all the hope and heartbreak of the gold rush Laveck and McLachlan have penned a charming musical that celebrates the magic of the gold rush while not glossing over the harsh realities of this epic world event. Auditions for Klondike will be held in mid October.

A gritty fusion of folk and ragtime, Klondike: The Musical reaches beyond the larger-than-life personalities to uncover the story of a father and son in pursuit of gold. As they journey into the heart of the Klondike, they must decide what they're willing to sacrifice to make their dreams a reality. Their journey intertwines with the lives of Yukon First Peoples, whose homeland is forever transformed by the rush for gold, alongside Sam Steele, Jack London and Diamond Tooth Gertie, all swept up into one of the most turbulent chapters in Canadian history.
Darkly comic, deeply human, Klondike: The Musical explores a frontier where ambition burns hot and the consequences cut cold.

The Yukon’s comedy scene began with the Guild and we continue to offer a supportive environment where emerging comics can try their hand at stand-up and audiences can see the best up and coming comics from across the country!
Ghost Stories at the Guild
Join us this Halloween season for two nights of ghost stories ‘Round Back. October 29th and 30th we bring you an evening of spooky tales by local storytellers. Bring your blanket and dress warm and we’ll supply the hot drinks and a frighteningly brilliant night of storytelling in our haunted back lot.
Drag Storytime
The Guild is thrilled to present Drag Storytime for families and young audiences! Local drag artists read from a selection of inclusive children's books We will announce dates on our website and social media!
Make it at the Guild
We offer our rehearsal and performance spaces on a sliding scale to artists and non-profit arts groups. We open up our doors in an effort to combat the financial challenges of finding a venue to develop a new project, host a meeting for a non-profit organization or teach a class!
